The Project is part of a three part development situated on 56± acres that includes a 21.17 acre parcel that was approved as a 200 unit Massachusetts “chapter 40B” mixed income development. The 40B is comprised of  144 unit apartment community as well as a 56-unit “for sale” detached condominium development. The 56 unit condominium development was sold to a Wildflower Meadow. The  development also includes a 24 unit single family home development.

Development Update

 

 

2016

Development has been completed and the project is nearly 100% occupied. Residents have enjoyed the beautiful apartment homes and the many amenities that Village Green offers. The 56 single family homes are well on their way to completion.

July 2015

Much has happened since the last update. Building 2 is complete and residents began moving in the first of August. The pool is nearly complete and will be open for residents to enjoy for the rest of the summer. Building 3 is well on the way to completion with the finish work in progress.

May 2015

Building 1 and the Clubhouse are now open. Our first residents moved in last week. Building 2 is moving along well as is Building 3. Interior finishes are underway in Building 2 which is expected to be complete in Mid July. Building 3 Framing is nearly complete and sheetrock is be being installed on upper floors. The clubhouse is open to tenants who want to work out or want to relax in the common area. The salt water pool will be ready in approximately 6 week.

March 2015

Much has happened since the last update. The waste water treatment plant received final approval and is serving a number of single family homes in the Wildflower Meadow project. Building 1 finishes are moving along well. The upper floors have received initial coat of paint, the finish work (flooring, lights, cabinetry, etc.) are underway. The elevator in Building 1 is complete. The exterior finishes will be completed now that the weather is warmer. Building 2 is progressing with sheetrock, elevator, and other trades underway. Building 3 first floor slab was poured and framing is moving along quickly. The clubhouse is nearing completion and should be done by the second week in April. Update March 28: Building 3 Framing is well underway.

January/February 2015

The project has seen significant progress in January and early February.

  • Waste water treatment plant received DEP approval as substantially complete which allows for limited use. Final inspection is scheduled for mid-February
  • Building 1:
    • All floors have rough plumbing and electrical installed
    • Floors 2-4 are insulated
    • Fourth floor has been sheet rocked
    • Siding installation is in progress
  • Building 2
    • The building is in general weather tight.
    • Plumbing and electrical rough is underway
    • Insulation and sheet rocking will begin once plumbing and electrical rough work is completed
  • Building 3
    • Under building garage has been poured and is ready for first floor slab.
    • All framing has been pre-built on site and is ready for assembly.
  • Clubhouse
    • The clubhouse is weather tight. Siding is complete
    • Electrical and plumbing trades have finished rough work
    • Sheet rocking is underway.

December 2014 

Work at the project is moving along quickly. Since the last update, Building 1 is nearly water tight and work by the interior trades is going well. The building is on schedule to be available within a few months. Building 2 is completely framed and shingled. The clubhouse is almost water tight, the electricians and plumbers are making progress and it is on schedule for opening at the end of February. Building 3 foundation which consists of  an under building garage is complete. The first floor concrete has been poured and framing should begin before the end of the year. The waste water treatment plant is nearing completion and expected to operational within a couple of weeks. Binder pavement is down throughout the entire project. November 2014 

The project is well underway. Building 1 is completely framed, Building 2 is 75% framed. The clubhouse is moving along well and is expected to be complete at the end of February. Finishes have been selected for interiors. The foundation for Building 3 should be completed within the next week and framing will begin. Amenities

Village Green will consist of 3 buildings, all with elevators. Two of the buildings will be slab on grade while the third will offer garage parking under the building. With 48 units per building, the Property offers 144 “Class A” gardenstyle one, two and three bedroom units in a variety of floorplans. All units will be fully sprinkled and will be built to “MassSave” High-Rise energy standards. Ample parking includes 229 open lot spaces, 12 handicap spaces, 13 surface garage spaces and 39 underground spaces.

Water, electric and gas will all be separately metered. Gas will be provided by National Grid.Water and electric will be provided by Littleton Electric Light and Water Departments (LELWD).
Units will have living rooms, separate dining areas, spacious bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens,laundry closets with washer and dryer,one or two full bathrooms,and large walk-in closets. Kitchens will have European-style cabinetry with solid surface counter-tops and will feature stainless appliances including gas range/oven with microwave-hood combination,frost-free refrigerator with ice -maker, and dishwasher. All units will have individual HVAC systems which will be located, along with the gas fired tankless hotwater heater, in an exterior utility closet on the deck of each unit. Each unit will have a private deck.

The site amenities include a clubhouse/management  and leasing center featuring a community room with double sided fireplace. The  clubhouse will have a pool and a playground. Dog walk park is planned. The project is located near Acton’s Nara park which offers a wide variety of recreational facilities.
